Had a surprise bday dinner by him again~ I can only say that he is
good in finding nice restaurant.. *thumb up* He only told me that dinner
will be at Marina area.. den ask him whats for dinner.. he said.. see
there gt wat to eat lo.. wah.. but of cos i wun believe wat he said.. he
wun go unplanned anyway.. =P
Went to Marina Bayfront..
I tot will be Marina Bay Sands.. but not walking to the direction to
there.. but towards Flower Dome @ Gardens By the Bay .. din expect this
place.. until we search for the locations for all restuarants.. Pollen
and another chinese restaurant.. so i confirmed shld be tat Pollen...
Once reached Pollen, the lady brought us to 2nd level.. the area was not tat big as 1st level..
We were served with bread and some free side dishes of stuffed balls and one fried crispy dish..
Starter
dish: Squid risotte.. wheres the rice??? rice = cubed squid.. is an
unexpected dish i can say.. the biting sense is v chewy~ intended to try
it out at home.. haa.. looks small portion, but when stirred them with
the white sauce, it actually quite a lot..

Main Dish: (after waited for ard 30mins and see 2 couples finished their Mains) Tenderloin and Cod
Tenderloin.. indeed v tender.. ordered medium cook for it..
shld hv at least 200gm of meat ba? really gd taste.. when i see, i
think might have unbitten parts? but NO~ is just tat tender and easy to
bite.. and the wagyu beef cheek.. tender too~ but not tat much
collagen? tasted like Dong Po Ruo.. haa..
And horse-radish mash potato... is an unique dish for both of us, first time eating it.. not tat strong taste of wasabi.. not bad..

Cod.. v fresh cod fish with cheese.. and the top
ingredient is unpeeled carrot with root, which we tot is ginseng..
haha.. looks like rite?

Main dish portion is actually acceptable for fine dining.. at least a bit worth for tat price..
After ordering our dessert, we were
served with pre-dessert which rather I tot is sorbee. .haha.. cos we
checked Pollen online menu, most of their desserts are sorbee.. and nt
tat cheap also.. and paying tat price for this size of sor bee, dun seem
reasonable.. so when we were served with it, we told the lady tat we
din order tat~ but realised we were wrong.. haha.. funny.. cos we din
noe abt this pre-dessert and he saw another guy in shock when tat guy
saw this pre-dessert size.. haaa.. =X

Our dessert~ the top is a leaf that made of pistachio.. is v crispy! and the little slices of orange thing melts in your mouth!~

Too
bad that we ended our dinner ard 9+, due to the long waiting time for
Mains, else we will have free admission to the Flower Dome.. haizz..
No flower dome.. but have Gardens by the bay~ took some pics with our iphone 5~
