Bought groupon deal for Hippopotamus.. always heard gd reviews on it.. and finally had a chance to try it..

Hangar Steak with bearnaise sauce, ratatouille (vegetables dish) & potato gratin

Tenderloin with baked potato and fries..

Tenderloin turned out disappointment.. ordered medium for it and ribeye.. but end up ribeye even more raw than tenderloin~ no longer tender anymore....

Xinjiang Trip 2013 - Day 14 (银川-昆明-新加坡)

8am set off to 银川 滨河机场.. took last group photo at the airport with tour guide 小赵, photographer 翰老师 and driver 李师傅.. taking 1125am flight to 昆明..

will be having halfday trip in kunming.. reached ard 2pm.. the plan in Kunming is shopping and dinner and off to airport.. when abt to go shopping, weather stopped us.. started to rain heavily.. and heard it finally rained in Kunming for a long time.. went to our makan place to rest instead, since the dining room has sofa and tv.. started shopping once rain stopped..  went supermart and began to load more to our luggage.. 

Now has train transport~

after dinner, set off to airport to catch 10pm flight.. tired and reached sg ard 145am...

Xinjiang Trip 2013 - Day 13 (中卫-西夏王凌-沙湖-银川)

2nd last day in china.. so fast.. think the temp is ard 1-2deg in e morn.. cold~ 

setting off with 3hrs journey to 西夏王凌.. learnt e history of 西夏 at 西夏王凌..

on our way to lunch, stopped by wolfberry farm.. guide recommended everyday can only eat ard 20 wolfberry.. put into soup before 3-5 mins when ready.. dun eat too much as it can mk pple high.. gd for easing tiredness.. 

and again, pluck until we are happy.. haa.. raw one is so nice and sweet~

had lunch den zoom to 影视城, where many movies are shot in this place.. many replica of dynasty are here.. but limited time spent at here.. ard 1hr..

one hr to 沙湖.. need to take ferry to see desert.. along the lake, planted aloe vera, can up to 2 metres high.. spent ard 30 mins plus to enjoy e last scene of china desert.. nth much also.. get the last glimpse of sunset and took ferry bk to e port..
