Taiwan Trip 2 [16-19 Mar 07]

16th Mar
Heading to Taipei at 1pm.. was my 2nd time going to TPE..haha.. was kinda rush for this trip ba..but i admitted that i din do any preparation for this trip, all done by my sis. no time to do also lor..so sian..been working and rushing for deadline also..which i only have b4 my trip..stress.. and found out i left one impt thing haven do~.. sian.. still can rem my stress on my 'last' day b4 trip. haha.. and ya, missed my MAYDAY also!.. so sian!!!.. long tm no see them liao, and yet still no chance.. poutx.. i go taipei, they go singapore.haiz..but at least, we at the same airport at the same moment.. hhaa.. wanna see them at airport one since their arrival time is 1150am..but nt tat much chance to see them also..bye mayday~.. see u all in 2nd june~.. lalala..
reached tpe ard 6pm..weather was cooling sia..haha.. like to go tour with jacket on.. at least no need to sweat!.. took bus directly to hotel..成都饭店 Royal Castle at Xi Men Ding.. the hotel is nt bad.. water dispenser somemore, save the time to boil water..haha.. tv lots of channels..room size reasonable..so far so good.. 1st thing we do when settle down is to go and eat 阿宗面线!!.. waaa~ missed it sia!.. since my 2 yrs backk.haha.. so shiok..hee.. this trip, i ate almost everyday sia.think wun sick of it..haha.. is diff from sg's one lor.. tpe one is with intestine, sg one is with oyster. haha..lalala~.. missed it again..haiz.. after tat, we headed to Wu Fen Pu which is at 松山.actually there can be reached by MTR also..后山碑.. woo.. getting hungry liao ate 盐酥鸡, tako ball with mayo and wasabi also.. din really get to see in any clothes over there.juz nt my kind..haha.. walked few more rounds, then go back hotel liao..but of cos..bought something to eat, starving sia..cos no proper dinner.. went to 全家~ for cup noodles and Fan Tuan~..

17th Mar
Today will be going to Yang Ming Shan.. planned to reach there quite early ba..cos long journey there.bought some sandwiches from 7-11, took bus 260 directly to there, took ard 50mins..1st time took bus in TPE also.. found out their bus fare is fixed one, unless u are tking to the interchange. haha..and passengers will pay their fare when alighting or boarding on different buses. different rules sia..reached and drizzling..haiz.. y rain~.. bit sad.. cos realise i shld bring along my cap!..haiz.. at least no need to waste my another hand holding the umbrella!..plus cold somemore..duno wats the degree sia.plus WIND!.. haiz.. chilling hands..hee..so nxt tm, pls bring cap!.. argh~.. Yang Ming Shan is having their Flower Festival at tat period also.. so ya, can tk pic of flowers!. haha..shuttle bus service is provided for different destination, bus fare NT$15 per person.. waa.. started to see 樱花 liao..but nt tat pink..din really tk many pics at this place, no mood also la..cos of weather..haha..but pics surprisingly turn out better than wat i expected..


then took shuttle bus to 竹子湖.. was quite a nice place there.. but was getting to rain with strong wind~.. was really like..cant mk it.. wanna go to shelter get some food sia.. plus my shoes..omg~ dirty liao.. heng can be cleaned easily.. phew..lunch was quite okie, ordered kong xin cai, fried di gua (sweet potato), bamboo soup, fried tofu.. haha..think sis ordered too much that have to tabao those fried ones..hee..

as weather is getting bad, we gave up cont to walk ard.. took bus down to 新北投. a place where all the spa are~. woo.. too bad, i gt no chance to go.. haha.. walked past national library 新北投 branch. went to Hot Spring Valley.. was thinking wats was burning there? cos lots of smoke. haha.. was actually one valley with boiling water.. and the steam juz coming out from it.. is really cooling.. plus cold weather with warm steam facing u.. and indeed saw bubbles from the water. esp when the wind blowing at one direction, and u walking along the path, is like u r walking in the cloud.. tats the most cooling part.. haha..but i really experienced in the cloud b4 at high mountain.. haha.. cool~!

Next heading to 淡水~ nice place also.. wanna buy some special nice things one.. but the place was like different from 2 yrs ago. hmm.. was kinda lost wheres the place was.. haiz.. bought 阿婆铁蛋, ate 阿给。 阿给 was nice.. is tofu stuffed with fen si and fish meat with 'duno wat is called' sauce. only noe the name in canto..haha..


Night market again~.. 士林. one of the muz go places when u in TPE. well, this place.. only mk us. eat n eat n eat.. haha.. but this trip, i really went and try many different kind of tw food.nt bad lor actually.. hee. ate 大排鸡 for the 1st time also.. nt bad.. breast meat.. haha..


18th Mar
Today heading to 九份. took train to 瑞芳 which took ard 45 mins.then have to take bus to there..and again, was raining..haiz. is like everytime i go 九份, sure will rain like tat..damn sad..haha.. but at least i managed to see the scenery, last tm is like haze~.. and again~ eat~ 芋圆, 鱼丸, snail meat, taiwan sausage, etc.. woo.. and of cos took pic of nice ancient scenery, however my cam batt juz keep died-ed. haiz. no use sia. oh ya, and 臭豆腐. nt smelly at all lor.. tot hw smelly can it be..haha.. or maybe smell til nice..haha.. anyway, 九份 is a place of souvenirs and their food.


Next, going for Miniatures Museum of Taiwan at 建国北路一段 (if nt wrong). cool place sia.. is juz like.. 小人国.. every thing is minute. juz wondering hw they did it.. is like one book can be really small. smaller than ur thumbnail? and words can be seen clearly somemore.. waaa..and those buildings, with all the deco inside.. hw i wish i can stay in this hse.. is like watching hw they live in this small room.. duno hw to explain also. haha.. gt chance go and tk a look. is juz really COOL!.. one spectacular one is.. one troop of soldiers, cos it reminds me of.. Night at the Museum~ the most nicest deco i feel is the japan street. is really colourful.. plus there has enuff lights for me to tk pics also..wahaha..

finally had a proper dinner at 金园排骨. the noodles is nice 口感.. and the chix~.. woo.. and the rice with those dishes, juz nice. thou look simple, but worth to have a try.

after tat, went to Nite Market again at 饶河街欢光夜市 at 松山.is juz different direction of Wu Fen Pu. welcome us is lots of red lanterns hanging up.. nice scene..and ya, raining again.. haiz.. so sick..and again eat!.. bought pepper biscuit, actually is like toasted bao with meat stuffed inside, ate Bak Ku Teh, tako ball again.. they even sell real crab meat.. as usual, din really buy clothes. changing of season.. which wun be wearing in sg.. or nt my taste of liking also. haha.. but when on our way back to Xi Men Ding, we saw TaiPei 101 in Nite scene..wa.. was beautiful. heng managed to take 2 shots b4 batt died-ed again..haha.. lalal~

walked ard Xi Men Ding.. and see gt any FOOD to eat anot.. oo.. gt tat stall, which sells BBQ stuff.. and i aimed tat BIG SQUID!!. hee.. cos everywhere was like selling squid leh.. i also wanna try.. and indeed..damn DELICIOUS!. is real big.. but will eat til ur mouth tired..hehe.. really big and juicy and Q~.. hee.. i missed it.. hahaha..


19th Mar
Last day in TPE liao.. was really fast.. went for a early lunch at 鸭肉扁. den went walk walk at Taipei Main Station there the underground shopping mall.bought Donut at Mister Donut Xi Men Ding.. actually quite nice.. nt tat sweet. can go try.. and of cos.. nevertheless, duck tongue!!.. woo~.. sure will buy tat home..hee..


tats wat we did for the last shopping in tPE liao.. duno when will be back to here. juz din expect will be back to this same place tat fast lor.. is like so familiar place..hee.. dun have those 依依不舍 feeling also.. haha.. maybe i already start to think of work liao? haiz. haha..

and duno y, juz left me with one terrible headacheee..wanan tk panadol, but cant bring any water on plane.. was really terrible feeling.. haiz. headache til can feel i gonna have fever.. haha.. *shake head* lalaa..

think this post bit bo liao. is like.. writing wat i have ATE in TPE.. instead of shopping.. haha..
