First day to Sydney..early morning at 6am.. up in Virgin Blue plane heading to Sydney liao.. hehe.. the view from plane is cool.. ahha.. cos is under clear sky.. can really see a lot wor.. nice view~.. too bad cant see sunrise..
hmm.. as today is sunday which is weekend.. gonna go for all MARKETS that only open during weekends.. Paddy's market and The Rocks Market liao.. one south one north.. well, the weather in SYdney.. is still WINTER.. need jacket.. juz glad tat brought my jacket along.. hehe.. wah..Paddy's Market..located in Market City Shopping Mall.. really gt a lot.. is like pasar malam lor..but din really bought anything..cos intend to go for another round on thurs (last day in sydney).. mainly walk ard.. and see wat can be bought.. haha.. bought some nuts.. and cherries.. wah.. the cherries here cheap wor.. compared to supermarkets.. the price is.. less than half of the price in supermarket sia.. wah.. the fish there leh.. hehe.. fresh fresh fresh.. wanna buy them and cook.. but well.. y brisbane dun have these markets leh?? wei she mo??
went to walk walk ard Market City.. a shopping mall where gt Factory Outlet stores.. quite a number of stalls there.. and surprisingly gt Food Court wor~.. wah.. brisbane dun have leh.. haa.. lots to eat.. in the end, i ordered one bowl of seafood laksa.. wah seh.. the soup is soo nice.. nt spicy as wat i tot.. at least i can take it.. hehe.. but no clams.. =( sad.. wahhaa.. and joey ordered Char siew wanton noodles.. is such a big bowl.. and the wanton is nt as SMALL as sg's one lor.. is like.. ?? size..hehe.. the char siew soo tender.. yummy!.. okie.. enuff of food.. make me hungry le.. then after tat, head to Circular Quay..where u can see Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House..
Have to take train to there.. Central Station.. wah.. is too big liao.. much much bigger than Brisbane Central Station.. haha.. and kinda lost in there.. duno which platform to take? which line shld take? blurrr.. until we finally go ask pple.. and another surprise is.. the train is double-deck one leh.. tot can only see if the train will be travelling for overnight one.. wah.. hehe.. cool leh.. reached.. a crowd.. maybe is Sunday bah.. families, frens all gathered here.. performers also.. lots of them.. and also.. Circular Quay.. where everyone can take ferries to other destinations.. is a great place.. and somemore.. go there.. already 2 main ?? liao.. HAHA.. walk ard.. take pics.. but gt stage at Opera house lor.. cos of Australian Idol performance.. hehe.. will be watching tat LIVE~.. woo..
Next, heading to The Rocks Market (which is the MAIN aim).. another pasar malam.. haha.. but nt tat many things lor.. walk ard the nearby shops.. and theres a Puppet Maker.. diff types of puppets on display.. as still gt time.. continue with our journey to take pics.. legs already bit tired liao.. wahaha.. trying to take nice pics with the opera house.. hehe.. in the end, end of trip of today.. really tired.. intending to go woollies in TownHall Station there to sell if can buy something for breakfast tml.. haha.. argh~.. staircases.. everywhere staircases..sian.. then happily dragging our legs to hotel.. chk in and bought Big Mac Meal for dinner.. hehee... well, sydney cant walk within distance.. haha.. need train!!..
21st Nov 05 (Monday)
Had bread with ham and orange juice for breakfast.. hee.. then ready for today's trip liao.. 1st stop: Darling Harbour.. over there.. really a big place.. gt Chinese Garden.. Darling Harbour.. Cockle Bay, Sydney Entertainment Centre, Imax theatre, Sydney Aquarium, Harbourside Shopping Centre, Maritime Museum... lots.. walk ard.. take pics..
2nd stop: Sydney Fish Market~.. where u can get FRESH seafood platters~.. woo.. went to take Light Rail.. to Zone 2.. wahh.. if u like seafood.. u muz go there.. really lots of nice fresh seafood.. prawns.. lobster.. calamari.. SALMON~.. OYSTERS~... raw oysters somemore.. wooo.. haha..the salmon ah.. wah seh.. wanna eat them all up!..
gt seafood platter.. lobster platter.. in the end, ordered seafood platter for 2.. the price can consider cheap le ba.. fresh somemore.. gt fries, calamari, scallops, fish, pacific oysters with Cheese~, octopus.. is really big portion.. time to eat tat.. 1st time eating raw oyster.. indeed taste real great.. totally diff from cooked one.. soo fresh taste.. haha..
in the end, we even bought one seafood COLD platter (with lobster) for dinner.. HAHA.. or shld say.. we wanna eat tat.. wahaha.. cant bear to leave Fish Market without lobster.. and again.. y brisbane dun have~~~??? haiz.. wanna buy scallops home also cant.. poutx...
3rd shop: Sydney Opera House.. again.. but this time.. aim is Australian Idol~.. actually we din really think much.. haha.. cos we duno if need tix anot!!.. haiz.. juz looking crowds walking thru the entrance with yellow band (entrance band).. then overheard tat theres a queue for those who do not have any tix, but can queue for the possibility to enter and watch Idol LIVE~.. heng we were at the front as the line was real long away~.. and yup, we got in.. and got ourselves a seat on the staircases.. pple waving banners in the air, supporting their fav finalists.. Emily or Kate? hee.. i also nt sure.. either one can be winner.. they both great.. though my fav ones.. all out in the beginning of the contest!.. argh~...HAHA.. Fireworks!.. woo.. juz above our head.. haha.. over here, they can juz happily put fireworks one leh.. wei she mo? haha.. sg leh? only National day.. hmmm....
din stay throughout the show.. as the REAL show held inside the Opera house.. but pple still can view from outside.. went to take nightlife instead.. HAHA..but din came out nice lor.. no choice.. lalaaa...late le..
heading back to Hotel.. took a bath.. and ready for Cold seafood platter.. wooo... HAHAA... really a great feast!.. hehee..
22nd Nov 05 (Tues)
Today will be having one day tour.. going to Blue Mountains.. hopping into a small bus.. which means will take turns to intro urselves.. sian..haha.. and also..cant sleep tat peacefully.. =( our 1st stop is Featherdale Wildlife Park.. is like zoo? haa.. but can have in contact with koala and kangaroos..hehe.. everyone will have a 'passport' which provide us with the map.. still rem theres a koala keep looking at me..haha.. esp when u gonna take a pic of it.. it will juz stare at u..hee.. of cos feeding the kangaroos are always available..but this time, they eat cone.. haha.. those biscuit cone from MAC ice-cream.. but overall, i most satisfied is tat i finally take a pic of penguins.. haha.. they are soo close to me.. though separated by the gate.. they gather together as a group.. one penguin walks away, everyone walks away.. too bad cant record the sound they make.. wana feel their skin leh.. ahhaa.. =X after tat, went to see bats.. in the dark and outdoor.. and they juz use their paws? to 'hang' themselves to sleep.. hoho.. next a threatening fight from peacock.. haha.. cos when the peacock opens its beautiful feathers, it will like showing off to everyone.. gt once, the proud peacock faces one white peacock for very long.. haha.. but too bad the white peacock din respond.. hmm.. wonder wat will happen if they fight? hmm.. hehe.. even shoo away the kangaroo..
Next, heading to 1st lookout of blue mountains.. was kinda nice.. BUT.. LOTS of houseflies everywhere~~.. pengz.. is like one big group of houseflies flying in front of u.. banging ur face.. eee.. duno y also.. maybe due to weather? but y brisbane dun have leh? HAHA.. HENG!!..
woo.. time to have buffet lunch liao.. the best thing is the drumstick.. looks okie, but tastes awesome!.. haha.. cant even have a second help of it.. wasted.. haha.. finally, here comes the Three Sisters rock formation.. well-known in Blue Mountains Sydney.. din really take lots of pics.. and have to take quickly, weather is bad at tat time.. in Blue Mountains, will see Three Sisters, take a ride in Steepest incline Katoomba Scenic Railway and Skyway.. well, these 2 is a must..haha.. cos one will bring u to the bottom of rainforest walk and another one to the top.. After that, went to have a visit to Wentworth falls..hahaa.. still rem hw tired am i after i went back to the top after visiting the falls.. phew..
have a short visit to the Olympic Stadium.. Last but not least, end the day with Matilda River Cruise which drops us at Darling Harbour or Circular Quay..
Had dinner at Dixon Food Court at Chinatown.. there really sells lots of great food.. and the price is quite reasonable also.. ordered black pepper combination with rice and Fujian fried rice.. yummY~...
23rd Nov 05(Weds)
Last FULL day in SYdney liao.. watever wanna retake pics.. have to get it done by today.. ahhaa.. AGAIN!.. heading to Circular Quay for Sydney Opera House.. haha.. duno hw many times liao.. y? cos dun have a real NICE pic with it.. and today shld have a FULL opera house WITHOUT the stage.. hoho.. nt a good day though, been raining.. rain, stop, rain, stop.. ahha.. today is also the first and the last to walk their city.. Wynyard Station.. juz glad tat we alighted at this stop, else really missed the REAL city liao..hehe.. and also the day to take Monorail.. which only brings u ard the main attractions in the City.. unlimited ride for the day $8.. went to World Square Shopping Centre to buy Breadtop bread.. and walk ard.. When u are in foreign country, of cos have to go to have a whole view of the country.. Observation Deck at Sydney Tower & Oztrek.. which locates at Centrepoint Podium Level.. haa.. think spend ard 2 hrs there? hmm.. duno y also..haha.. wanna make full use of the cost ba? haha.. can take the day view and night view mah.. =X once in a lifetime rite? HAHA...
hmm.. still gt Oztrek haven go wor.. and is already 7+ le.. still gonna go see Christmas Tree light-up at Darling Harbour and haven makan somemore.. hmm.. makan more impt ba.. haha.. so went back to Chinatown there and have dinner.. and thinking go see light-up then back for Oztrek.. from Monorail, saw a crowd gathering at the big Christmas tree at DArling Harbour liao.. nvm, can go back for it later.. had roast duck and char siew with soy chix for dinner..
then quickly go back for Oztrek le.. argh~. it lasts for 40 mins wor.. which means will be missing the last monorail liao.. sian.. means NEED to walk back to hotel liao lor? sian.. we have 2 choices.. either go for Oztrek or leave.. Oztrek or Christmas tree? HAHA.. have to choose Oztrek also la.. haha.. this is not for free wor.. and for walking back.. walk lor.. no harm..already been walking since the 1st step to the SYdney land.. HAHA.. hmmphf..

times flies.. last day in SYdney liao.. getting use to this place le.. ahhaa.. here lots of markets and seafood.. very cool wor.. if gt $50 airtix to Sydney, i will come back again for a day.. HAHA.. fat hope.. lalaa~.. last last last shopping in Paddy's Market.. and its time to say BYE BYE to Sydney liao~.. and Hi to Melbourne le~.. wooo... wah.. the view from plane is real nice.. maybe cos gt lots of beach ba.. can see the sand from above..the outline of the coast..and the waves.. *thumbs up*
P/S: hmm.. is this post Too long? wahaha.. juz wanna write wat i overcome in SYdney.. hee.. sorry if too long.. =D
