its 445am..and will be on our way to Brisbane Airport..and ahead to Melbourne~.. woo.. air flight journey of 2hrs 50 mins.. and finally we reached.. met joanna at the Melbourne Domestic Airport.. and there she was..sleeping.. haha.. paiseh also la..cos she waited for us for 2 hrs..hoho.. =X Melbourne is colder than Brisbane..and really need winter wear~.. without it, duno hw to survive the coldness sia.. haha.. Brisbane? still dun need tat? still or no need at all? duno leh.. izzit winter period? *thinking* settled our luggage at Pacific International Apartment which is juz beside Myer Shopping Centre.. wah.. the apartment is better than expected wor.. and cheaper than Hotel also.. juz tat no breakfast provided lor.. everything looks soo new.. great~.. AUD$130 per nite for 1 standard room.. went for MacDonalds for breakfast.. damn hungry wor.. and guess wat? we saw Big Breakfast!!.. hhaa.. okie.. wats the big deal rite? cos.. barely see Big Breakfast in Brisbane~.. (duno have anot? wun get up tat early to eat breakfast also..haha) anyway, of cos ate big breakfast and.. *shake head* not wat as we expected.. no jam for muffin bread also.. haiz.. and the egg was like.. solid? haiz.. cant compared to sg one leh.. sad.. haha..
gt a whole day walking the city (reached MEL at 830am).. went to Flinders Street Station, walk ard City area.. see all those building scruptures.. woo.. soo different from Brisbane.. buildings like castle.. esp their church.. went to Victoria Market and Prahran Market.. cos is Sunday.. and most markets open at this GOOD day.. well, Victoria Market is like 'pasar malam' and fruits, vegetables stalls.. is a BIG place.. REAL big.. and really can do shopping there.. and of cos..really gian to buy groceries home..haa.. but hw to bring home? haiz.. kinda cheap lor.. esp when its gonna close..all owners shouting.. sale sale sale.. Prahran Market leh? almost the same things lor.. fruits, vegetables.. meats.. flowers.. blar blar.. maybe see too many in Victoria Market liao.. dun really tat excited? haha.. =P
walked along Chinatown and dun have any idea wat to eat.. cos all resturants.. haiz.. had Claypot for dinner @ AUD$10.80.. nice, full..but salty.. even bought maggi for breakfast.. haha.. =)
Day 2 (03 Jul 05 Sun)
Having one day of tour.. gonna see Penguin Parade at Philip Island..departed at 130pm..checkout and moved to our hotels for the next few nites (Victoria Hotel).. went to some places in MEL city, for eg, Block Arcade.. had afternoon tea at Warrok Cattle Farm.. and went to feed kangaroo~~~! 1st time see them.. so big wor.. and can even touch them.. haha.. very shiok lor.. then head to Koala Conservation Centre.. everyone was excited when spotted one koala.. cos they are high up in the tree.. SLEEPING~.. hmm.. think only managed to spot 1-3 only la.. haha.. time to see penguins liao~.. driving along the path o penguin area at Philip island..place was so nice.. with beach beside.. and the land is full of animals.. cows..lambs..and even kangaroos.. reached the place liao.. crowds~.. and no cameras are allowed when viewing the small penguins marching up the sand to their nesting places.. ard their estimated time of arrival, we sat at the viewing stands while waiting for small penguins to appear at the Summerland beach.. haha.. really excited sia. when trying to spot them.. and yeah.. saw one penguin liao.. and they will wait for a group 1st and walked quickly together to their nested places.. trying to protect themselves from prey.. despite of their weight, they still walk very quickly.. and real cute.. left right left right.. and after tat, still gt pathway to see them.. and is real close-up with them.. close-up until really wanna tk a pic of them, although NO CAMERA is allowed.. and of cos.. pple will still disobey the rule.. haha.. included me.. juz trying to see if can tk a pic anot? and happily.. haven open my camera cover, and kena caught liao!!.. ARGH~.. and my cam.. was put inside a bag.. and was nt allowed to bring out until i left the restricted area~... =( sian.. haiz.. juz took out then kena liao.. soo sway~.. then my fren also..try to take.. and i walked another way.. nt with them lor.. and sway sway again.. after they took pic, is me who kena caught again.. duno y.. haiz.. and was send off wor.. hahaa.. #$%^&*(&^%$ soo sian~.. but saw penguins can liao.. really closeee... =D as it ends quite late, having dinner outside.. had Fish & Chips @ AUD$6.. then back to warm hotel and have our rest.....
Day 3 (04 Jul 05 Mon)
Today.. will be having 1/2 day tour abt City Sights.. went to Captain Cook's, Botanic Garden, Shrine, etc.. okie lor.. although is free.. but at least these places, we wun be able to go ba?.. haha.. or wun go for these places? duno.. hoho.. haiz.. actually din really think of rejecting this FREE tour.. else..can go for tat Grampians liao~.. Grampians..a place where need to climb mountains.. is a nice place..and only set off on Mon and Sat..haiz..too bad.. nvm lor.. cos we planned for the last day doing shopping for the whole day.. and thus decided to use the last day for another tour~.. haha.. cos.. like nth to shop, might as well spend money on other attractions rite? hoho~~.. soo.. Puffing Billy and Healvesville for Weds!
spent the whole day going to places in City, Aquarium, Observation Deck, Southbank.. Aquarium.. wah.. worthy to go ba..cos really lots of things to see.. nice interesting things to see.. u may think y go there ba? duno..hahaa..
then went to Observation Deck and had our bread lunch there.. a place where u will see bird's-eye-views of Melbourne.. and yeah.. went there juz in time for sunset also.. so.. evening and night sights.. woo~.. completely different kind of views..
Went to Southbank (nt SOuthbank in Brisbane).. Casino.. wah.. only can think of suntec..haha.. and their southbank.. so diff from Brisbane's Southbank.. there.. all shopping centres.. although most of the stalls are closed.. reached there too late liao..after 6pm.. haha.. no choice.. u noe OZ life~ of cos gt this opportunity to take night scene of MEL city sights~.. woo.. tats nice..and HARD to take.. esp when no tripod..haha..
time to makan..and went ahead to Mekong for dinner.. hmm.. is like.. the food stall in Sunnybank.. cos totally the same..however, nt eating tat beef noodles..ate chargrilled chix with broken rice.. yummY~..is niceee.. can try tat if this available in SUnnyBank.. full day tml..gonna go home resstttt~~~
Day 4 (05 Jul 05 Tues)
FUll day of tour today to Great Ocean Road.. its a stretch of beautiful scenes along the road.. went to Bell Beach, see koala, Cape Patton, 12 Apostles (although now left 8, and one collapsed 2 days ago b4 we went!!), Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge.. and even went to see Whales.. but very farrr la.. hee..
Day 5 (06 Jul 05 Weds)
Last day and.. a day to Puffing Billy and Healesville Sanctuary~.. went to Dandenong Ranges National Park for morning tea.. tats a nice places.. is like.. in forest? haha.. lots of birds there.. and gt chance to feed them.. and happily one bird flew to my head.. scared me..haha..cos its claw on my head.. tats pain.. but regretted.. (nt cos it din SHIT cos din tk pic!..HAHA)
sat on the Puffing Billy Railway which run in steams.. after tat went to Fergusson Winery & Restaurant to have our lunch.. drank some red wine, white wine..haha.. the lunch nt bad la..really full tat time.. Healvesville Sanctuary is next..a place where can see more animals~.. eg Koala, echidna, kangaroo, dingo, tasmanian devil, etc..
last shopping time liao.. b4 we set off to Brisbane~.. bought chocolates, bags.. and had a slice of pizza~.. yeah..tat nite is COLD~.. and really ROT for 2 hrs..so sian.. in the end, decided to go to airport to wait for flight ba.. Avalon Airport.. and tats REAL FAR from City~~.. 30+ mins from City to Avalon Airport.. and tat costed AUD$78.50.. tats A LOT!!!.. haiz.. really spoil the mood lor.. hw we noe tats so much.. and tat fare meter keep jumping in 2 secs.. haha.. imagine.. 2 secs 10 secs.. =( and tats really ULU along the way home.. haha.. and finally reached liaO.. and guess wat? flight delayed~~.. argh~~.. and total 4 hrs ROTTinG~.. tats boring.. and tired.. haha.. anyway, juz happy to be back in Brisbane..ahhaa.. the weather is COLD in Melbourne~~.. wooo... and really FULL USE Of my WInter Wear jacket.. HAHA.. =P
