2nd time going to Melbourne le.. aim is to go those places where i haven go went to for the last time..haha..weather was not as bad as sydney..was kinda cool.. went to Friendly Backpackers to collect our day tours tix.. then walk ard the city, federation square, southgate and casino..
and also our 1st time taking Melbourne's free city circle tram.. haha.. no choice, tat time we went, the road was under construction.. and indeed, found out still gt more places to be included into our itinerary.. din really do many things today, juz went for a walk.. had dinner at Casino food court..
and coincidentally, there's a christmas performance..it starts with a group of choir, then had lighting performance too.. quite nice..haha... but too bad, my camera no more batt le.. haha. think stayed there for ard 1 hr to TRY to take some pics.. =P

had breakfast buffet in the morning.. then set off to our 1st day tour in Melbourne.. Sovereign Hill.. It is a living museum representing Ballarat's first golden decade following the discovery of gold in 1851.. which means.. 'staffs' in Sovereign Hill will be wearing costumes from the 18s.. old costumes.. i like..haha.. there's one area (Gold Panning) where u might be able to pan for gold at the diggings wor.. haha.. of cos i din get any gold la.. there's also old stores in there.. but theres really business carrying on.. and even have pple demonstrating how they made things..eg, making one metal into a metal bowl, candle making.. and even gt small class carrying on in a school.. everything was like real.. theres also red coat soldiers..who will only march ard the Sovereign Hill for 15 mins.. flag rising by firing the rope tied ard the flag, then phototaking.. even gt coffin making shop.. ever seen bowling in old age.. its a long long stretch wor.. wooden ball.. and 1st time looking at it, u will think can really able to hit down the pins far far away? hmm.. haha.. of cos can.. but i din go try it..hee.. we also went inside the old houses, hotels and have a look on how they look like.. when for the Gold Mine tour.. which costs us $3.50 for concession. hmm.. din really much la..haha.. juz follow the tour guide.. then walk walk walk.. hop on the train to the surface.. reached a chinese land.. and even gt a small Waterloo Store..
was really a HOT day today.. skin burnt in the end..had grilled BBQ chix and Crispy Chix Rice for dinner.. yummy~..
26th Nov 05 (Sat)
had Breadtop bread for breakfast.. then set off to another day tour again.. Grampians National Park.. need to climb.. haha.. this day also the day that totally breaks my leg.. *pain* hop into a small tour bus again.. which means.. introduction time again.. but this time.. more chinese~~.. more than half of the tour members are from China.. beginning tot is good.. at least is chinese mah.. but hor. wah.. they can tok non-stop for 3 hrs plus wor.. and tok until the driver on the music loud.. stress.. LUCKILY no headache tat day.. elsee.. cant tahan.. cant even sleep under THIS condition until have my favourite music playing just on my ears... zzzz... woke up.. they still toking.. tats terrible.. HAHA.. =X
saw Echidas on the road while on the way to Grampians.. tour guide leads us to have a look.. and ordered us nt to make any noise or move, then Echidas wun feel any vibrations on the ground and will start to move itself.. kinda cute.. after have our tea and cookies, we head to our 1st lookout.. Wonderland Walk.. we have to walk in the bush.. gt rocks, water, trees.. haha.. then camera siao again..duno y.. my camera sometimes the lens din really ON properly.. duno hw to say.. make me din really take much.. spoilt my mood.. haiz.. but nvm.. at least FiNALLY fixed le.. Next, another lookout to the famous Balconies.. also a looong way to walk in order to see it.. walk walk walk.. juz wanna go home.. HAHA.. Next, is the longest duration of the visit ba.. went to see MacKenzie Falls and Broken Falls.. can die manz.. waterfall means have to walk all the way down.. then CLIMB all the way up.. *shake head* but still worthy when u reach the bottom of the fall and enjoy the water splash on my face.. haaa...
tiring day.. time to return to Melbourne le.. took some nightscenes of MEL city..
our dinner~.. singapore food~!!.. Singapore Chomp Chomp.. haa.. finally saw SG food here..with all the fav.. gt Chwee Kueh somemore wor..but laksa here no clams wor.. ordered ban mian and fried fish slices noodles.. nice nice... big bowl somemore..

Sunday.. Market day.. and also shopping day.. had breakfast at Hungry Jacks.. SG's Burger King.. too bad no City Circle tram available today, walked to Queens Victoria Market.. and have our slow walk ard the market.. haha.. trying to see gt wat things to buy.. then head to Myer shop shop again.. then had dinner at Hongkong Noodle Bar.. ordered Chix Drumstick with soy egg on rice and sweet sour fried fish on rice.. happily, the music playing Jay Chou's songs.. a nice relaxing day~..
28th Nov 05 (Mon)
juz glad that today gt City Circle tram available.. hehe.. gonna go all the attractions along the City Circle route on the LAST day of tour..1st stop: Docklands Park..is juz a small playground..haha.. but gt one thing that attracts me.. duno wats this called.. it will move depends on the wind speed.. nice nice.. then went up the top of the small slope.. and try to see the 'world'.. haha.. then walk all the way to the next tram stop, Bourke St Docklands.. here gt Victoria Harbour.. gt a Cow up a Tree.. Telstra Dome (stadium).. this stop is also a place where i sprained my leg.. make my leg more pain.. road uneven mah.. haha.. hmmphf.. Next stop: Central Pier Docklands.. here gt New Quay.. pier.. and many status..
Leaving the Docklands liao.. now going for a place where i wanna go on my previous trip.. Old Melbourne Gaol (Melbourne's Oldest Prison).. duno y i was attracted to this place.. maybe i wanna see hw a prison looks like bah? hehe.. gt fake prisoner inside the cell.. and some of the cells tell the stories of some notorious prisoners.. showing wat they wore during the sentence.. how they create the hanging area.. The Scaffold.. the measurement of the rope.. blar blar.. and of cos the most famous Ned Kelly.. til now, din really understand him..only noe that his family relationships, a few served sentences in the Gaol.. and if i'm nt wrong, every prisoner has to wear a metal 'suit' to cover their identities from the others.. Every level indicates different sex..
hmm.. tats all ba.. hahaa.. then again.. shopping time.. at Target.. tried some clothes. but din buy la..
dinner time before heading to Airport.. had seafood curry laksa and XO sauce seafood with stir fried Shanghai noodles.. quite oily.. and is like.. Chao Guo Tiao wor..
hmm.. okie la.. but cant eat much also.. then hopped in Hotel Shuttle bus and said bye bye to MElbourne liao~... with a nice sunset farewell.. heee..
