early morn go airport to enjoy lounge.. but hot food is onky available after 5am for brkfast..
today was sooo hazy.. and really cant see far far away..
rch there punctually and quite easy to exchange money and get SIM card.. just out of custom, left side for Sim card and money for left to right.. gd thing is able to settle these things b4 set off for transport.. was tryg to find e best rate.. but who noes walk one round back, the rate drops!! super fast.. but can assure e rate is better than sg one.. for sim card, we go for Vinaphone.. 5gb data for 100,000vnd (S$6.40) !! super cheap and card is available for all sizes. rebooted my fone and data is up!
once out of airport, straight to my free pickup service (with 3 consecutive nights) i had from booking my stay at Silverland Hotel & Spa (ard S$82 per night) along Le Loi.. room nt ready, hv to wait for 45 mins.. overall, quite gd service frm e staff.. able go speak english and explain everything to us, even for e room amenties.. room and toilet is quite big..

after settle dwn, time to count money and realise we gt 60,000 instead of 600,000!! lost ard $31 for both.. their currency too many zeroes till blur.. condemn..
lunch at Pho 2000 which located at the corner of street.. ordered beef noodles 67k, pork rice 69k and shrimp roll 67k vnd..

went to Ben Thanh market.. quite big and clean but ventilation stil nt gd.. been sweatg also.. all categories are at one location.. but din bgt anything.. duno e price also.. too hot to stay inside.. went out for a walk.. outside has wind and shaded somemore.. so stil ok.. managed to get drinks and surprisingly is so cheap!

thou quite tired at near 2pm.. dun wan waste time go bk hotel zz, we walked 15mins to War Remnants Museum ( for a visit.. Memorial museum exhibiting photographs, weapons & other objects from the Vietnam & Indochina wars... admission fee 15k vnd ($1).. and outside displayed many helicopters, armoured veh/tanks which were used during Vietnam war which lasted for 17yrs! so long... pity e situation when looked at those photos taken.. pre-war / war / post-war tt affects most kids due to agent orange..

time to go bk rest.. super hot n stink.. and actually quite easy to walk provided must be daring when cross roads..
for dinner is a headache. was plannng for Five Oysters. but found tt fri night will b oyster nite whereby oyster only cost 10.000vnd! cheaper than usual price 25.000vnd. but stil decide to go there, Bui Vien, for a walk to see gt things to eat anot.. who noes this street has so many makan places!! pubs, restaurants, street food too.. decided to go for bbq at Ba Sau BBQ Saigon Night, as theres crowd. so funny, all ppl sat on e chair, facing e road.. ordered chix wing, squid 120, pork and beef stewer 40 and Saigon red beer 12..
