Once upon a time, on a unknown day, suddenly one small lump of meat appeared on my right index finger.. unsure izzit cos of the lump being pop out of the even skin, I intend to keep knocking on it..
As months goes by, the lump has getting bigger and hard.. and the pain is unbearable for few secs after being knocked on.. I have to shake my hand to ease the pain.. and i decided to remove it as its getting damn irritated.. is nt pain when i touched it, but painful when knocked it..
went see company doc to get referral letter to KTPH.. get surgery date and off I go.. tot will be like small surgery as my dad did once b4 on his leg.. and his surgery was just awhile and he can start to walk.. so I tot will be the same... and I din ask much, and doctor din say much.. and tot only like one day mc....
so on 14 Aug 2013 0930, i was asked to change to surgery attire.. and forgot not to wear contact lens, so i was "blind" throughout the procedure.. asked qns by the nurses, doctor.. whats ur name? why u are here? r u allergic to any medication?.. at least 3 times?
den soon walked to the surgery room.. okie is my first time and din expect so many pple inside for this small surgery.. lie on the bed, the warm air blowing from legs to keep me warm.. den start to inject anesthesia on my right hand.. oh man, the pain is terrible! injected at least 3 times? phew... while my left hand was monitored for blood pressure.. and soon my right hand is numb.. and green cloth was put above my head and one portion was uncovered for me to breathe.. I was awake for the whole surgery.. but I have no feel.. was juz thinkg wats gng on... doctor told the assistant abt this and tat.. wat tissue.. and den ask him to clean up as was done le.. and even more surprised when i saw hw they wrapped my hand! omg.... *shake head* doctor told me tat the surgery was done and the lump will be sent for investigation..
was brought to the private ward and my parents came and invite me.. yup, my dad laff at my BOXING hand.. keep sayg i go boxing.. but really wrap until kuazhang.. haa.. but few days ltr, the wrapping is gd as it really keep the hand in good position.. need nt worry i will knock it..
was given 4 days mc.. and so heng i had presentation 2 days ltr.. cos i din expect will be this outcome.. else i wun schedule on this date.. but was postponed at v last min.. phew...

was in boxing hand for 2 days, had to go poly to lighten my dressing and 5 days ltr to change dressing and another 1 wk to remove dressing.. so i was like "handicapped" for 2 wks..
was feeling lousy and useless with this wrapped hand.. cant do much things.. need to depend on my left hand and was like a baby, learning from scratch.. learnt hw to hold toothbrush using left hand (nt easy esp need strength to brush, i dropped brush few times).. learnt hw to bath using left hand with holding-up right hand wrapped in plastic bag.. dressed up using left hand, type using left hand and right thumb.. haa.. and worse, used too much of left hand until my left thumb skin torn and swollen, only till after my China trip then recovered.. zz..
cos of the wound, hv to change working bag to lighter bag.. changed my carrying bag side to left.. write using left hand, using mouse in left hand.. have to use spoon and fork only.. dun wan to trouble pple unless i really need help..
and the after pain i have, is helpless.. getting numb easily, maybe is due to the wrapping tightness.. and the dry skin on my right hand that are accumulated for wks, is horrible! =X

after 2 weeks from surgery, its time to remove the dressing and remove stitch! doctor said my lump is nth serious.. skin tissue gather together and become lump.. and may come back.. hmm.. anyway the almost 1-inch scar will be there with me cos of 0.8mm lump..
The removal of stitch is unbearable.. indeed v pain.. cos the stitch is nt those dissolvable as they need to monitor the stitch.. the nurse has to pull the stitch from my hand, cut it off and pull it out from my hand.. dare nt even see, juz hoping to end it FAST! and i stil hv to bear the pain for 4 times.. after removal, the area was swollen and red.. too pain till i cry and feel damn frustrated.. T_T

of cos nw i have to exercise my fingers alot and all fingers except index are "working" as normal.. only left index finger was still swollen.. and tot gng to China, will make my hand even worse due to cold weather.. but turns out the cold weather cure my fingers.. or maybe cos too many shutter pressing on my index fingers? heee.. I am happy!
In 2 months+ time, my finger has recovered 90%.. now and then, still feel bit stiff and cant stretch fully.. but was a big improvement since 2 wks ago..
