today will b a cabby day again for NT4800, booked through 阿珠姐 (a.fang@yahoo.com.tw) .. travelling from 清境 - 合欢山 - 太鲁阁 - 花莲.. 9am set off.. our driver drove his big big car for juz 2 of us.. he din realise his passengers only 2 pple.. weather was kinda bad.. went to the highest peak of the mountain at 3500m altitude..
but up there is v hazy, cant get to see anything.. ard 8deg based on driver.. and from driver, was still snowing 2 days ago~
car started to drive in turns ard the mountains.. only scare will have motion sickness.. n hungry somemore.. juz pray wun vomit.. went to see 碧绿神木 which is more than 3000 yrs old.. reached 天祥.. our lunch stopping area.. theres only 3 restaurants which sells almost the same thing.. juz went to the nearest one and eat.. din really gt appetite due to the car journey.. ordered fried rice, carrot cake and mushroom soup.. walked further down is 雅晖桥.. next is the 慈母桥.. along 太鲁阁 route, wun missed out 燕子口.. get to see swallow and their home.. stopped by to see the shape of the sky tat looks like Taiwan, which is surrounded by mountains.. 长春祠 next.. known to be stable in location even after earthquake or landslide.. before exiting 太鲁阁, took a pic with the entrance of route which connects the east west of Taiwan.. 花莲 to 台中.. last stop 七星潭.. nice beach with strong wave..
Reached 花莲 ard 4pm.. checked in 青葉綠地飯店 Green hotel.. its location is v near to train station.. decided to buy our train tic bk to taipei first.. planned to take 230pm train.. but no more~ only left either 623am which tk 3hrs or 315pm which tk 4hrs? decided on 315pm.. damn sian as plan spoilt.. bgt some 麻糬 frm 曾記.. as no bus service can be found in google for Hualien, we gona spend ard 30mins to walk to 自強夜市.. really glad tt google map app is made available for ios6 at a very right time. well, actually the market is only 2 small stretch.. nth much also.. but had their famous grilled food and coffin bread.. v nice..since this market is really small, planned to change our train plan and switch to 623am train bk to Taipei since we hv one free chance to do amendment.. will be better than stayg here doing nth.. took cab bk to train station for 140nt to get a free train tic chg.. as the time is stil v early.. nt yet 730pm~
time to hv second rd of food! walkg time again.. found out Hualien actually has a shopping street at 中華街.. so great to see these crowd.. went to the recommended wanton stall at 液香扁食.. 11 wantons for nt60.. meat is v solid n alot.. the wanton wrap is v smooth.. nxt is Red Tea at 庙口红茶店.. ordered iced almond as welll~ nice..
next is the 公正包子, which we tot is Xiao Long Bao~ but ends up is only BAO.. so sad.. and we ordered 8? haha.. sad choice.. seems like gona rain n left one more fish soup stall 新站虱目鱼专卖店 recommended by driver.. nice soup with QQ fish balls~ juz outside our hotel.. and tada~ we had finished all our planned food~ at ard 1030pm.. eat and walk..
